There are two main reason for which there will be multiple CIF against one single customer; one is inadvertantly more than one CIF is opened in CBS and two is in different sources system (e.g; CBS, CBS, LAPS etc) one single customer will have multiple CIF.

MASTER CIF application unifiies the multiple CIF of a single customer under one Master CIF. There are two main reason for which there will be multiple CIF against one single customer; one is inadvertantly more than one CIF is opened in CBS and two is in different sources system (e.g; CBS, CBS, LAPS etc) one single customer will have multiple CIF. Due to this, when management ask for consolidated information of a single customer, then first it needs to find out different CIF from different systems manually and then the desired data is collected.
But using MCIF, it is very easy to collect required data of a same customer easily as all the existing CIF are clubbed together here.
This solution provides single set of truth.
Using this application only customer onboarding and editing in different source system can be done easily. There is no need to input / update same change of data in multiple source systems respectively; rather using MCIF, change in CIF data of a customer will be done here and then it will update it from backend in all the source system.
