Key Responsibilities

  • Design and program embedded systems using ESP32, STM32, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi.
  • Interface and calibrate a wide range of sensors
  • Develop wireless communication with Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa, and Zigbee modules.
  • Integrate IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP) for real-time data transfer.
  • Work on edge ML deployment using frameworks like TensorFlow Lite and Edge Impulse.
  • Design, test, and iterate on PCB schematics and hardware prototypes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data-driven, ML-enhanced IoT systems.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ for microcontroller programming and Python for scripting and ML tasks.
  • Solid knowledge of digital/analog electronics, circuit design, and hardware debugging.
  • Experience with microcontroller platforms like ESP8266/ESP32, STM32, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi.
  • Familiarity with using and integrating multiple types of sensors and actuators in real-world systems.
  • Understanding of IoT architectures and connectivity options.

Skills

  • Machine Learning & Deep Learning Skills
  • Knowledge of basic ML/DL concepts: regression, classification, neural networks.
  • Experience with model training, data preprocessing, and sensor data handling.
  • Ability to deploy lightweight models using TinyML, TensorFlow Lite, or Edge Impulse on microcontrollers.
  • Exposure to real-time ML applications like:
  • - Gesture recognition
  • - Voice/sound classification
  • - Anomaly detection in sensor data
  • - Smart decision-making at the edge
  • Bonus Skills
  • Experience with PCB design tools (KiCad, Eagle, Altium).
  • Familiarity with Linux, Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Contribution to IoT/ML projects on platforms like GitHub, Hackster, or Kaggle.
  • Participation in robotics, electronics fairs, hackathons, or research publications.
